Community Supporters Provide Christmas For 24 Familesposted on Monday, January 17, 2011 During this year's Children of Hope campaign, we were able to serve 24 families and a total of 46 children. Our biggest sponsor was Kids for Kids, Mrs. Jackie Weaver, director at Williams Middle School. Individual sponsors such as Ron Vereen, Dr. Akinwale Olatosi, and Steve Iannarone, along with Sexton Dental Clinic, HopeHealth staff, and Long's Pharmacy staff helped sponsor many families. Annual sponsors such as McLeod Hospital 11th Floor Orthopedics and Regency Hospital continued their support as well. Special thanks to La'Quantia Goodman, medical case manager, who organized the program again this year. Children of Hope provides Christmas gifts to families affected by HIV and AIDS who would not otherwise be able to afford gifts.
