HopeHealth at Relay for Life
On Friday, April 16, HopeHealth staff, friends and board members gathered at Freedom Florence to attend the 2010 Relay for Life. Our team spent several months raising funds for this American Cancer Society event through sales of T-shirts, hotdogs and commemorative luminaries. During the Relay, the HopeHealth tent accepted donations for a cupcake workshop as well as hot boiled peanuts, hotdogs, and chances to break open candy-filled pinatas.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, HopeHealth has always understood the importance of community involvement for other community organizations. Volunteering is a natural extension of HopeHealth's values, and it always provides our staff opportunities for fun and fellowship while we strive to better our community.
