HopeHealth and Together SC Host Networking Event
On June 6, the HopeHealth development team hosted Better Together: Cocktails & Conversations in the Meditation Garden at the HopeHealth Medical Plaza. Organized alongside Together SC as part of their Development Peer Network, the event brought over 25 Pee Dee development professionals together and gave them an opportunity to discuss fundraising and philanthropic efforts in the state.
Attendees represented organizations including the McLeod Health Foundation, Mercy Medicine Free Clinic, House of Hope of the Pee Dee, South Carolina Cancer Alliance, the Manna House, and more.
HopeHealth CEO Carl Humphries shared about the organization’s partnership with Together SC. Additionally, Nicole Echols, director of external affairs, provided an overview of HopeHealth’s goals, while Heather Singleton, principal consultant of Strategic Public Relations Consulting, shared about Together SC membership benefits.
On the event’s success and the importance of HopeHealth’s relationship with Together SC, Charlee Rhodes, development and events coordinator, shared, “I am grateful for the partnership and support from Together SC and the Development Peer Network. This event allowed local development professionals to meet and share the good they serve to our communities throughout the Pee Dee.”
