About Dr. Lanning

Originally from Salem, Oregon, Lisa Lanning, DO attended Pacific University and earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to joining HopeHealth, she was a resident physician with the McLeod Family Medicine Residency Program in Florence and worked as a physician assistant in three different emergency departments in the Midlands and Pee Dee in addition to teaching with the Medical College of Georgia physician assistant program.

Dr. Lanning began seeing patients at HopeHealth in August, 2017, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and American Medical Association.

Dr. Lanning practices full-spectrum family medicine with an emphasis in geriatrics, chronic care management, primary care behavioral health, and children’s and adolescent health. She is active in medical education and precepts Francis Marion University Physician Assistant students as well as medical students and resident physicians.
