HopeHealth Recognizes World Aids Day
FLORENCE, S.C. (November 13, 2018) – HopeHealth will celebrate World AIDS Day across our communities with a week of activities kicking off Nov. 28 and culminates Dec. 1 with our 21st annual AIDSWalk.
In Aiken, HopeHealth will host the third annual Art & Music Showcase in the Student Activities Center Mezzanine at the University of South Carolina Aiken campus. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 28.
The fifth annual TruthIz, a spoken word and poetry slam, will be held at The Broughton in Orangeburg on Nov. 29. This free event begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes a live band and refreshments in addition to a variety of area poets, singers and spoken-word artists.
This year, HopeHealth will commemorate World AIDS Day in Florence on Dec. 1 with the 21st annual AIDSWalk beginning at 11 a.m. with a lunch program (walking tacos included) at Central United Methodist Church followed by the awareness walk at 12:30 p.m.
