Best Chance Network

HopeHealth is a partner of the South Carolina Best Chance Network, which is a special program for women needing breast and cervical cancer screening. This program is available to patients at each of our health center locations.

Free Breast & Cervical Screenings for Those in Need

What is the Best Chance Network?
The Best Chance Network (BCN) is South Carolina’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program. It is important to detect cancer early so treatment can begin soon after diagnosis. Early detection and treatment give women who have cancer the best opportunity to achieve a healthy outcome.
BCN provides no-cost, breast and cervical cancer screenings to South Carolina women who qualify. These services are provided by the program:
  • Clinical breast exams
  • Mammograms
  • Pap smears
  • Pelvic exams
In addition, these services may also be provided (as needed):
  • Pap test / Human papillomavirus (HPV) test.
  • Diagnostic testing for women with abnormal screening results (e.g., ultrasound, MRIs).
  • Follow-up guidance and support services.
  • Community education on breast and cervical cancer.
Who Qualifies for Free Cancer Screenings?
You may qualify if you:
  • Are a female South Carolina resident, between the ages of 21 to 64.
  • Have high-deductible health insurance.
  • Have insurance that does not cover diagnostic services.
  • Have no health insurance or are underinsured.
  • Have a high family risk for breast or cervical cancer.
  • Meet income eligibility guidelines 6/30/2026 – 6/29/2027 (pdf)
