In addition to HopeHealth in Lake City and via an agreement with Florence County Schools, HopeHealth operates a School-Based Health Center (SBHC) at Lake City High School. HopeHealth provides one midlevel provider as well as needed software and licensing. The school provides nursing support. The site offers basic primary care, screenings, and immunizations to students and school staff and refers to other HopeHealth sites and referral providers as needed. The clinic utilizes a handicapped-accessible, pre-fabricated unit with 1,820 square feet, two exam rooms, a lab, two waiting areas, a workout room, two offices, and a reception area.
