HopeHealth Now Offers Women’s Health Services
Statistics from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey indicate that 38.3 percent of women are obese and more than 32 percent have high blood pressure. What does this mean for our communities? It means that one in three women are dealing with health issues. It means that focusing on health is more than a once-a-year doctor’s office visit. It means taking care of your health begins today.
At HopeHealth women’s health services are offered to women of all ages in Florence, Williamsburg and Clarendon counties. Our board-certified gynecologist and nurse practitioner provide services relevant to the entire lifespan of women, from routine gynecological exams and contraception method options to medication therapy for menopause. We also partner with evidence-based programs, nonprofit organizations and businesses to provide the best in women’s health services.
In Clarendon County, Rosemary Davis, a certified nurse midwife, joins Dr. Robert Ridgeway III who provides GYN services at HopeHealth in Manning. In Florence and Williamsburg Counties, Dominique Speaks, FNP-C, sees patients at the HopeHealth Medical Plaza in Florence and, beginning Oct. 3, will be expanding women’s health services the first Monday of each month at HopeHealth in Kingstree.
