HopeHealth hosted a “Best Foot Forward” event on July 25 at the Kingstree Recreation Center in partnership with Williamsburg Pharmacy and INNERSOLE. The back-to-school event provided over 100 pre-selected Williamsburg County students with free sneakers.

INNERSOLE is a movement that allows a common bond of compassion and humanity, uniting us through the gift of giving new sneakers and the responsibility of shaping an enduring imprint. The organization is led by co-founder/president Coach Dawn Staley (South Carolina Gamecocks women’s head basketball coach).

On the importance of the event, Charlee Rhodes, development and events coordinator, shared, “Through this partnership, we were not only able to provide new shoes, but also smiles, and healthy lifestyle tips for the students as they prepared for the year ahead. We are grateful for the generosity of Coach Staley and INNERSOLE.”

This partnership with HopeHealth and Williamsburg Pharmacy is the first of many, as the organizations have recently joined forces. Chief Pharmacy Officer Christi Epps shared, “HopeHealth has added Williamsburg Pharmacy in Kingstree, a prominent local pharmacy, to its list of pharmacies. We have partnered together to better serve the community, and the INNERSOLE event is a prime example of how our combined resources, expertise, and strengths can help make a difference.”
