HopeHealth names Sharon Black as behavioral health consultant manager
Sharon Black, MSW, LISW-CP/S, joined HopeHealth in 2019 as a behavioral health consultant and was recently named the behavioral health consultant manager.
From Hartsville, SC, Black graduated from the Coker College with a Bachelor of Social Work degree, from the University of South Carolina Columbia, SC, with a Master of Social Work degree and from Luther Rice College, Lithonia, GA ,with a Master of Ministry degree.
She enjoys working with many populations and has special interest in helping children and teens. Black is a member of the National Association of Social Work and the Health Minister Association.
HopeHealth behavioral health consultants are licensed mental health professionals who work in conjunction with primary care providers for routine mental health evaluations, focused interventions for mental health concerns and chronic medical conditions, and referrals to additional supportive care.
