HopeHealth Welcomes Dr. Michele Scott

HopeHealth Medical Plaza welcomes Dr. Michele Scott to its Access Hope after-hours care program.

Born in North Carolina but raised in Florence, Dr. Scott is an undergraduate of Francis Marion University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. She is a member of the South Carolina Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Scott has worked in emergency rooms and urgent care facilities across the state and joins HopeHealth’s after-hours program which provides an alternative to expensive emergency department visits and urgent care clinics.

Dr. Scott began seeing patients Oct. 16 and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
