HopeHealth welcomes new provider
HopeHealth welcomes Joshua Summerford, DNP, FNP-BC, a family nurse practitioner at the HopeHealth Medical Plaza.
A native of Florence, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Francis Marion University. He also holds an Associate of Nursing from Florence-Darlington Technical College and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Clemson University.
He is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Francis Marion University Chi Lambda Chapter Board Member, American Nurses Association, South Carolina Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the National Association of Family Nurse Practitioners
His clinical interests are preventive medicine, hypertension management, diabetes management, public health, and clinical research.
