About Dr. Bauer

Dr. Robert Bauer is a psychiatrist of HopeHealth Behavioral Health Services at HopeHealth Medical Plaza.

He earned his doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, received a PhD in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and did his undergraduate work at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He completed his residency with the Department of Psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. His clinical interests are broad and include depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Dr. Bauer is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and is board-eligible in Psychiatry.
