About Dr. Patel

Dr. Supen Patel is a rheumatologist serving patients at HopeHealth on Palmetto Street in Florence.

He earned his medical degree from University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and his Bachelor’s in chemistry and biology from Houston Baptist University. Dr. Patel completed two residencies in internal medicine and fellowship training in Rheumatology at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.

Originally from Houston, TX, Dr. Patel has served patients in the Florence area for more than 20 years and is a volunteer with Ujjain Eye Clinic. He is a member of the Arthritis Foundation Board and has served as chairman of their South Carolina Leadership Council, as well as the annual Florence Arthritis Walk.
