HopeHealth in Florence will recognize World AIDS Day with our 20th annual AIDSWalk on Saturday, December 2nd at Central United Methodist Church. To find out more about this year’s walk, contact scogdill@hope-health.org.
HopeHealth’s annual AIDSWalk is one of the ways we recognize World AIDS Day. We walk to celebrate the lives of those affected by HIV and AIDS. We walk to increase awareness, decrease stigma, and provide support to individuals living with the disease.
This year’s World AIDS Day theme, “Put a Ribbon On It,” invites everyone to wear one of our red ribbons and take selfies using our hashtag: #HHRedRibbon. Email communityrelations@hope-health.org to find out how to get your ribbon!
AIDSWalk is completely free to participate! We will serve our famous Walking Tacos (free to all!) and provide a moving program featuring speaker, Anton Gunn, prior to heading outdoors for the walk.
All donations are appreciated, and those who donate a minimum of $20 will receive one of our very popular t-shirts!
