National Hepatitis C Testing Day is May 19, 2019. There are an estimated 2.4 million people living with Hepatitis C in the United States. Those particularly susceptible (but not limited to) include those born between 1945-1965, current or former IDU users, hemodialysis patients, those who work in the health field, and those who have had unregulated tattoos or body piercings.
In honor of National Hepatitis Testing Day, HopeHealth in Orangeburg and HopeHealth in Aiken will offer free Hepatitis C screenings. Get screened, enjoy refreshments, and pick up some valuable information to take home with you.
