HopeHealth in Aiken

HopeHealth in Aiken is 1 of 3 Infectious Disease Treatment and Prevention Centers, and is committed to providing infectious disease services to Aiken, Allendale, and Barnwell Counties. The site opened its doors in 2005, providing case management services to individuals living with HIV. The site has since expanded its services to include community education, STI prevention, and Personal Health Clinic. Personal Health Clinic appointments are available to accommodate walk-in STI screenings, Hepatitis C care, PrEP, PEP, and traditional women’s health services such as PAP smears.


Clinical Services

Clinical services consist of medical care and treatment related specifically to a patient’s diagnosis. The clinical staff team includes a medical office assistant, a nurse and a provider. The team meets with patients at least quarterly to assign and review patients’ medications, labs and coordinate any referrals for specialty care services.

Client Services

HopeHealth offers a range of supportive services for its infectious diseases patients in coordination with their medical treatment, including medical case management. HopeHealth employs a team of medical case managers to serve as coordinators who work directly with the clinical team to manage patients’ medical needs, medication regimens, referrals, and other social services.
