Meet Our Team

Kelly Lyles, MD, Chairman of Medical Education

Dr. Kelly Lyles serves as Chairman of Medical Education at HopeHealth, where she supports the development of meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for medical students, residents, and advanced practice learners. In this role, she works closely with clinical preceptors and academic partners to ensure each student rotation is educational, well-structured, and grounded in community-based care.

A Florence, South Carolina native, Dr. Lyles graduated from West Florence High School and earned a degree in Biology from the College of Charleston. She attended medical school at both the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina, where she also completed her residency inInternal Medicine and served as Chief Resident.

With over 35 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient care—including 12 years at HopeHealth—Dr. Lyles has long been dedicated to clinical teaching. Although she retired from clinical practice in March 2025, she remains committed to mentoring and shaping the next generation of healthcare providers. In her current role, she works to ensure a rewarding experience for both learners and preceptors.

Becca Hamilton, Graduate Clinical Education Coordinator

Becca Hamilton is the Graduate Clinical Education Coordinator at HopeHealth, where she manages the organization’s clinical education and research programs. She serves as the liaison between HopeHealth, preceptors, partner schools, and students, coordinating clinical rotation schedules and research assignments for medical residents, advanced practice providers, and other graduate-level learners

In her role, Becca focuses on building strong partnerships with academic institutions and ensuring a streamlined, high-quality experience for each student who trains at HopeHealth. Her work supports the development of a mission-driven health workforce and helps prepare students to deliver compassionate, community-based care to vulnerable and underserved populations.

Becca is committed to creating meaningful learning environments that benefit both students and preceptors, while advancing HopeHealth’s role in workforce development across the region.
