HopeHealth will celebrate National Health Center Week from August 2-8 with employee appreciation activities, advocacy efforts, and community events.

National Health Center Week is recognized by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) every August to bring awareness to the importance of community health centers like HopeHealth. The celebration includes contributions from community health centers throughout the country, highlighting their missions and accomplishments while encouraging support for local centers.

In South Carolina, Governor Henry McMaster has officially proclaimed National Health Center week, noting the important partnership between community health centers and the people and communities they serve. South Carolina’s 23 health centers serve as the health care home for over 430,000 patients.

HopeHealth serves as one of the largest health centers in South Carolina, serving 85,000 patients in Clarendon, Florence, Orangeburg, and Williamsburg counties.

HopeHealth will host employee and patient appreciation activities throughout the week and engage with public officials and community stakeholders. On Wednesday, employees will be encouraged to take selfies and share them with the #NHCW25 hashtag during Social Media Day.

This year, HopeHealth will host the following events that are open to the public:
