About Anita Longan

Anita Longan is a registered dietitian/nutritionist and certified diabetes educator at the HopeHealth Diabetes and Nutrition Center located at the HopeHealth Medical Plaza in Florence. She received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of New Hampshire and her master’s degree in human nutrition from Winthrop University. She is board certified in advanced diabetes management. Longan also works with area organic farmers helping to promote the consumption of fresh, sustainable and locally grown foods. She resides in Darlington with her husband and enjoys gardening, developing new recipes, spending time outdoors and traveling.
