Internal Medicine Residency:
HopeHealth is collaborating with the Medical University of South Carolina – Regional Network and their new Internal Medicine Residency to bring additional access to care to the HopeHealth community.
Beginning in July 2024, four internal medicine residents from MUSC-RN joined HopeHealth. Each resident is a licensed physician and will be completing a portion of their three-year residency at our facility. In addition to the patients they will be seeing in the clinic, they will also rotate with our behavioral health department.
Each July, there will be four new residents joining the program.
Community Pharmacy Residency:
HopeHealth has partnered with the University of South Carolina’s Community Pharmacy Residency Program to offer a PGY1 residency.
HopeHealth pharmacists practice interdisciplinary primary care and collaborate with specialties such as infectious diseases, endocrinology, pediatrics, pain management, and more.
Residents will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within many specialty disciplines as their interests and the site needs align. Residents at HopeHealth work alongside an incredible team of pharmacist and physician preceptors who are passionate about providing excellent patient care, increasing patients’ access to clinical pharmacy services and investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals.
